Marcus charges $250.00 for a 50-55 minute clinical psychological consultation.
(Medicare Rebate $145.25) Treatment is provided under Medicare, private health, WorkCover, TAC, NDIS, Victims of Crime, and Veterans’ Affairs.
Consultations may be provided in person or via Telehealth.
EFTPOS or bank transfer payment is required at the end of the consultation.
A strict cancellation fee of 50% ($125.00) applies to appointments cancelled within 24-hours of the appointment time.
In order to receive a Medicare rebate, patients must obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from a general practitioner or referral letter from a psychiatrist. Eligible patients receive up to 10 psychological consultations per calendar year.
Medicare rebates $145.25 of the $250.00 consultation fee, leaving an out of pocket expense of $104.75.
Marcus conducts a range of psychological and medicolegal assessments. Psychological assessments are often sought when a third-party wishes to obtain a formal diagnosis or report. A report provided you or your client with an expert assessment of a client’s current level of functioning and/or level of impairment.
